Feel It All Around

Hudson Valley, New York post-hardcore/grunge-gaze/alt-rockers Soul Blind have just announced their debut LP titled "Feel It All Around" set for release on November 11, 2022 via Other People Records. The full length album will feature 11 new tracks and serves as a follow up to their 2021 EP titled "Third Chain". The band entered the studio in early 2022 with Grammy-nominated producer Will Yip (Title Fight, Turnover, Movements) at Studio 4 Recordings. Soul Blind write songs that are filled with layers of distortion, feedback, and rich melodies, often combining the best elements of 90s shoegaze, grunge, alternative rock and post hardcore. The band have already released the first two singles from the forthcoming LP titled “Stuck In A Loop” and “System (Failing)” which can both be streamed below.

Soul Blind drop "Tribe", the 3rd single from their forthcoming LP, and yes, it's heavy and it rocks!

Tribe is another heavy track taken from New York grunge-core band Soul Blind's forthcoming LP, and is another ode to 90s grunge and post-hardcore that finds the band channeling their love for bands like Alice in Chains, Helmet and Deftones. This is the heaviest of the 3 singles released so far, however, it still retains the same level of melody and hooks you'd expect from Soul Blind based on their previous singles. This go round, the grooves are heavier, the guitars are thicker and the the vocals more angst. Check it out below.

Official Press Release:

Today, Soul Blind shares “Tribe”, the third single from their long-awaited full-length, Feel It All Around, set for release November 11th on Other People Records. “Tribe” hits hard out the gate, burgeoning with thick guitars and resonance. Chords spiral through a sense of distress as vocals project lyrics filled with thoughts of dread and unease. The track sees the band’s blend of alternative and grunge taking a heavier tone, nodding influence to earlier releases from acts like Deftones and Quicksand.

Diving into the lyrics, vocalist Cen states:

“This is about the sunken place/purgatory. A sonic representation of the last few seconds of life before descending to an internal mind hell. Triggered by being stuck in a loop, the mind jumps down this dark alleyway that leads you to believe this is what a fearful, non embraced death is. Panic and anxiety ridden, this song is sonic hell.”
