I Promised The World

I Promised The World is the self-titled EP that broke the band wide open. Released January 16, 2026 as their first outing for Rise Records, its five songs distill everything the young Texas group had been building toward: the harsh-scream/clean-sing dichotomy of early-2000s post-hardcore, Midwest-emo guitar work, and breakdowns that hit like a time capsule from 2003.

Recorded in April 2025 and produced and engineered by Jon Markson (Drug Church, DRAIN, Stay Inside) and Adam Cichocki, the record wears its influences — From Autumn to Ashes, Misery Signals, Hopesfall, Emery — with pride while carving out its own emotional register. Lead single "Bliss In 7 Languages" arrived alongside the Rise signing and went unexpectedly viral, its deliberately grainy, MySpace-era video pulling hundreds of thousands of views; follow-up "A Pure Expression" traded patient, atmospheric builds for full-fury screams and clean-toned comedowns. Closer "Emerald Waltz" was written on the spot in the studio.

Beneath the throwback thrill is real weight: the band trace their existence to the 2020 death of vocalist/guitarist Caleb Molina's father, and the EP reframes that grief as something closer to celebration. "We hope this record connects to both old and new listeners," the band said of signing to Rise, "by giving nostalgia and an improved version of our sound."
