The Early November have announced their highly anticipated 5th studio album which is set to be released on 27th September via Rise Records. The band’s first album since 2015’s Imbue, Lilac represents a shift towards a more pop-centric sound while preserving the raw vulnerability that The Early November has become known for. Early November in late September - Don't miss this

Ace Enders continues to expand his songwriting abilities, and these new songs are evident of that. Although he has mellowed with age, there is still plenty of emotion and energy in these new songs. This sounds more in line with the likes of Death Cab for Cutie or Copeland than it does the early more aggressive Drive Thru Records years, but they haven't really done that for quite some time. I still expect some upbeat melodic rockers on this record, along with the layered and lush atmospheric sound of their new material. Should be a great album. Look forward to hearing more.
