Montreal, Quebec's melodic post-hardcore band SPITE HOUSE have announced their debut 10 track self-titled LP out August 26th on digital streaming and 12″ via New Morality Zine. The LP will follow up their 3 song Afraid EP released earlier this year. Their sound harkens back to the post-hardcore of the mid/late 90s in bands like Seaweed, Quicksand, Texas is the Reason and Hot Water Music only with more gruff and hardcore leanings. They'd also fit right in with more recent bands like Drug Church, Fiddlehead, Hippie Trim, Koyo, and Stand Still. Fans of any of those bands should take note and check this stuff out. In anticipation of the release, the band has put out a new single track “Hope”, along with a video for the track. The video was filmed and edited by the band’s Max Lajoie.
