Autodidact Dreams has just announced their self-titled debut album featuring seven tracks that combine 90s shoegaze, brit-pop, darkwave and hazy post punk with catchy hooks. This is the first solo project of British musician Graham Brown, and his debut solo release, but is also the culmination of a tenacious music career spanning Brisbane and London. The album will be released on February 24, 2023 via Shifting Sounds on digital and limited clear vinyl and was produced by Rory Attwell (Test Icicles, The Vaccines, Palma Violets) & Brown. It was also written during a time of global chaos and marks a new departure for Brown through taking control of his musical expression and creative spirit, graduating from accomplished drummer to multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. Lead single, "Hourglass", and the closing track on the LP has a shoegazey/darkwave/post-punk vibe to it that wouldn't sound out of place on an Interpol record.
