Philadelphia, PA indie punks Restorations are gearing up to self-release their self titled 5th album "Restorations" on March 22, 2024, their first new material in over 6 years. The album will contain nine brand new loud and blistering anthems of melodic and sometimes angular guitar driven punk rock 'n roll that are sure to please old fans and new. The first two singles "Cured" and "Film Maudit" from the forthcoming LP are both ear worm rockers and can be streamed below. "Cured" is a definitely a heavier track for Restorations with its thick and grungy/post-hardcore groove and pounding low end, while containing the gritty vocal delivery and melodic hooks we've all come to love in Restorations' sound. The single lands nicely somewhere between the sounds of Hot Water Music and Small Brown Bike. "Film Maudit" on the other hand has more of an emotionally charged heartland rock and roll vibe that sounds more akin to bands like Spanish Love Songs and The Gaslight Anthem and not too dissimilar from Restorations' previous material . Either way, both of these tracks are fantastic and show great promise for the upcoming LP, which from the sound of it, might be some of Restorations best song-writing to date.
