Austin, Texas emo / rock band Ritual Club has announced the release of their upcoming EP titled "Running Low" set for release released on March 17th, 2023 via Best Life Records / Really Rad Records. Singles “Clementine” and “Running Low” from the forthcoming EP are streaming everywhere now. Bringing elements and textures from various alternative genres “Running Low” takes you through a dynamic and energy filled journey resembling the rollercoaster the last few years has been. Singer Michael Hancock describes finding himself often “writing songs about the lack of self-love to find self-love”. “Running Low” is no exception, reflecting on poor choices and complacency and coping in regrettable ways.

About the band, Ritual Club is an emo / rock band from Austin, Texas that brings in elements from almost every alternative genre and brings you dynamic and high energy sad boi tunes. The band consists of Michael Hancock (Guitar/Vocals), Rafael Garcia (Drums), Kieran Krebs (Guitar), Trey Karnes (Bass). In 2019, they released their debut EP “Homecoming” bringing twinkly emo riffs and delivering them through a higher gain lens. Despite the rollercoaster years that followed bringing the world to a near screeching halt, the band refocused and inspired, wrote some new songs and hit the studio in 2022. The output of that studio time resulted in "Running Low", featuring 5 new songs combing melodic emo / punk/ alt rock of the early 2000s with a 5th midwestern emo revival feel, similar to older bands like Spitalfield, Valencia, Further Seems Forever, Jimmy Eat World, Acceptance, etc but even closer to emo revival bands like Arms Length, Ben Quad, Charmer, Valleyheart, etc. Check out the new EP when it drops this Friday.
