Somehow Those Were Days

North Carolina trio Youth League is releasing their new album “Somehow Those Were Days,” on September 2nd via Wiretap Records. Combining late 90s/early 2000s sounding emo, math rock, indie-pop and post-rock, the new album will feature 8 songs built around sonic soundscapes, rich melodies and instrumentals, mathy tapped out guitar melodies, and when present, driving vocal hooks that you can sing along to. This album should certainly appeal to fans of late 90s/early 2000s mid-western twinkly emo with some post-rock leanings, along with some of the newer 5th wave revival bands in the genre.
