To Find Me Again

Pacific Northwest shoegaze indie/alt-rockers Reveries are gearing up to release their sophomore EP titled "To Find Me Again" on March 5, 2021 via Cardigan Records. Combining elements of heavy melodic shoegaze, post-hardcore, grunge, and indie/alt rock, the 4 songs on "To Find Me Again" should please any fan of Rare era Hundredth, Nothing, Title Fight, and Modern Color, while also paying homage to 90s shoegaze akin to My Bloody Valentine and the like. At the same time, the band draws inspiration from heavy alt rock acts like The Smashing Pumpkins, Hum and Deftones as well. These guys hit that passive aggressive sweet spot between dark, heavy and atmospheric music, containing thick walls of distortion, swirling melodies, big grooves, and tasteful hooks. About the EP, guitarist/producer Jesse Flores says “To Find Me Again is an expression of introspection, regret, unhappiness from not living life for yourself, and the determination to take back your life and find out who you are outside of what you were programmed to be by societal norms, or pressure from others."
