Beach Rats, consisting of punk rock veterans like Ari Katz and members of Bouncing Souls and Bad Religion, are set to release their debut album Rat Beat on July 29th via Epitaph Records. Their sound, embodied in the title track "Rat Beat," channels the raw energy and essence of classic punk rock acts like Minor Threat and Negative Approach.

The band's DIY ethos shines through as they crafted the album in Brian Baker's basement, adhering to pandemic restrictions. Beach Rats aim to revive the nostalgic punk spirit of the 80s, creating music that harks back to their early influences while injecting their own energetic twist into the genre.
