Heavy Sleeper is a self-coined “Space Punk” band, originally from Boston, MA, featuring members Jordan Kulp (Vocals/Guitar), St. John Faulkner (Drums), Todd Johnson (Bass), and Quentin Singer (Guitar). The band combines sounds of 90s alternative rock, emo, spacey shoegaze/dreampop and post-grunge, similar to many of the newer bands (like Narrow Head, Teenage Wrist, Soul Blind, Milly, Gleemer, Glare etc). drawing inspiration from this era of 90s guitar rock. In 2017, they released their debut EP Alive & Well – recorded with Alex Poeppel (Roger Waters, jaboukie, Bay Faction, Carpool Tunnel) via Really Rad Records. The next few years saw them embark on several regional and international DIY tours with bands Northbound, Charmer, Soul Blind, Greet Death, American Pleasure Club, + more.

Following the EP’s success, the band independently released singles “Castaway” and “Visitor” – garnering press support from the likes of New Noise, Substream, and IDIOTEQ, earning them many new fans hungry for more Heavy Sleeper music. The band is about to release it's sophomore EP titled "Chime"spring 2023.
