Fiddlehead deliver on 2nd single "Heart to Heart" from forthcoming LP

Fiddlehead just dropped the 2nd single titled "Heart to Heart", the last track on their forthcoming LP, which can be streamed above. "Heart To Heart" follows the album's first single "Million Times", and is another testament to their ability to write dynamic melodic high energy rockers with massive sing-along choruses, combining elements of post-hardcore, indie-rock, post-punk and classic old school emo.

About the song, vocalist Patrick Flynn says:

"The lyrics to this song serve as both a letter to my children on how to communicate with me after I eventually move on into whatever comes after death, and an imagined conversation with my own father who is now 11 years gone. Essentially, it’s a song about finding ways to reconnect with those we love, despite the hard barriers between life and death. The music has this feel of infinity to it. I remember hearing the ending for the first time and having the emotional impulse to tear through the channels of time and speak with the people who have gone into the unknown. That felt appropriate for the type of message I was trying to write."

This release is shaping up to be one of the more exciting releases of 2021.

Fiddlehead—the punk powerhouse featuring members of Have Heart, Basement, and more—have returned today with the announcement of their upcoming sophomore full-length, Between The Richness. Due out May 21st from Run For Cover Records, Between The Richness finds Fiddlehead expanding on their dynamic blend of hardcore energy and undeniable melody, crafting their most immediate set of songs to date. Each track bursts with Revolution Summer grit, massive hooks, and vocalist Pat Flynn's deeply thoughtful and open-hearted lyrics.

Fiddlehead have shared the album's anthemic first single "Million Times" which can be heard below. The song is the perfect introduction to Between The Richness' sing-along-ready choruses and compelling words. Stereogum praised the album's scope saying, "With Between The Richness, Fiddlehead have made the sort of album that will unlock heavy feelings and thoughts and revelations within listeners if they let it. The tragedy that Fiddlehead grapples with is specific, but this album, more than anything, radiates the energy of healing — the power of being okay in the midst of a storm."
