Ben Quad share standalone single “I Only Let You Down Now”

Oklahoma emo band Ben Quad have released the standalone single “I Only Let You Down Now,” out October 12 via Pure Noise Records, alongside a new music video.

The band describe the song as a return to their emo roots, putting their intricate guitar work back at the center while bringing together the songwriting and sound of their previous releases.

“‘I Only Let You Down Now’ is about catching yourself making the same mistakes you thought you grew out of and finally breaking out of that cycle,” the band explain. “Sonically, we wanted to dig deeper into our emo roots and put a highlight back on the riffage we’ve become known for. IOLYDN, in terms of songwriting and sound, feels like the true culmination of our previous releases.”

Ben Quad will support Boston Manor on the tenth-anniversary tour for Be Nothing this November, including a November 10 stop at Philadelphia’s The Foundry.
