With just under a month until the release of their first full-length in five years, Charmer deliver "Night," a haunting snapshot of the human mind's limit when coping with heightened circumstances. Hailing from Michigan's rugged and isolated Upper Peninsula, Charmer has always been known for balancing melodic urgency with emotional depth, and Downpour is no exception. The album is a sonic reflection of the band's growth––a bit older, wiser, and more weathered but still searching for light in all this dark.

Throughout, vocalist/guitarist David Daignault reflects on life in the UP, a bittersweet pursuit of creativity, and healing from trauma in the wake of new parenthood. Joined by guitarist Neil Berg, bassist Zack Alworden, and drummer Nick Erickson, Daignault’s soul-stirring vocal performance leads the band across a record that combines passion and precision.
