Brooklyn shoegaze and slowcore outfit Crate have unveiled two new music videos for “Not My Song (Mine to Keep)” and “Necklace,” both taken from their forthcoming self-titled debut album, arriving November 13 via Good English Records.

The video for “Not My Song (Mine to Keep)” pairs the track's hazy, unhurried melodies with footage captured by Ry Minter, Tate Shockley, and Ethan Biamont. Blending scenes of the band in nature, night-vision imagery, and floating lyrics, the visuals carry a dreamlike, fragmented-memory quality. Animations and editing come courtesy of Quiet Sports.

“Necklace,” meanwhile, takes a more playful approach. Filmed in Brooklyn, the video follows Ezra through a sunny afternoon before the mysterious powers of a magical necklace begin wreaking havoc, making his friends and beer disappear. Quiet Sports also contributed to the visuals.

Both tracks showcase Crate's ability to move between delicate, intimate melodies and thick, fuzz-drenched guitar textures, drawing from the quieter side of Duster and American Analog Set while embracing the swirling distortion of My Bloody Valentine. There's a wonderfully understated quality to their songwriting, where the melodies and atmosphere are given room to breathe without sacrificing the emotional weight underneath.

The band's 11-track debut was assembled over three years across Brooklyn apartments, rehearsal spaces, and Ethan Williams of Shower Curtain's studio in Queens, with Cody Hudgins and Gift's TJ Freda handling production and mixing.

Crate arrives November 13 digitally, on CD, and on vinyl via Good English Records. Preorders are available now.
