Richmond, Virginia's Dazy, the solo project of musician, songwriter and producer James Goodson, has shared “Unreasonable Person,” the final single ahead of MAXIMUMBLASTSUPERLOUD Vol. 2: 24 Songs From 2023–2026, arriving October 23 via Lame-O Records.

Recorded at home by Goodson and mixed by feeble little horse's Sebastian Kinsler, “Unreasonable Person” combines a glitched-out vocal loop, driving drum samples and a soaring chorus, pushing Dazy's hook-heavy fuzz-pop sound into more rhythmically adventurous territory.

One thing you can always count on with Dazy: songs that'll have your head bobbing, packed with memorable hooks that make you want to move.

The upcoming 24-track collection brings together singles and EPs released over the past three years alongside seven new songs, including previously released singles “Beat Change” and “Ugly.” The record follows 2021's MAXIMUMBLASTSUPERLOUD: The First 24 Songs and documents Goodson's evolution as a songwriter since his acclaimed 2022 full-length OUTOFBODY.

Goodson has also kept busy collaborating with other artists, including co-writing material for Militarie Gun's God Save The Gun, working with Australian band Peace Ritual and collaborating with electronic duo Bodysync.
