Fake Names have shared “If You Could See Me Today,” the latest single from their forthcoming album Punk Ruins, out October 23.
The new track lets more jangle-pop melody into the band’s D.C. post-hardcore foundation, with crackling guitars, gritty bass and Dennis Lyxzén’s melodic vocals carrying a reflective look back at the past. Punk Ruins was produced by Matthew Bernhardt at Chicago’s Electrical Audio and features Brian Baker, Michael Hampton, Johnny Temple, Lyxzén and new drummer Mario Rubalcaba.
