Indie rock stalwarts Guided By Voices invites listeners into the introspective yet triumphant world of their just announced 44th LP titled 'Crawlspace Of The Pantheon,' set to release on May 29th via GBV Inc Records. Along with the album announcement, the band has released the anthemic lead off single 'We Outlast Them All,' a heartfelt testament to perseverance over time. With emotionally conceptual lyrics that delve into autobiography, Robert Pollard's meticulous craftsmanship shines through in this distinctive indie rock offering with classic GBV guitar jangle, melody and hooks. About the song, Pollard told Rolling Stone in a recent interview, "'We Outlast Them All' could be our 'We Are The Champions' but it's not necessarily about us. It’s about anyone who perseveres over a long period of time. I worked much more diligently on this set of lyrics. I chiseled away at lines and sections and phrasings...I wanted them to have an overall emotionally conceptual feel. At times it feels somewhat autobiographical."
