Wavves have shared “We Get Around,” the latest single from Cherry Soda, now arriving November 13, 2026 via I Surrender Records and Bose Records. The song brings the fast tempos and ragged hooks of Nathan Williams’ early surf-punk recordings into the more emotionally direct guitar rock of the new album.
Williams approached the revised record on instinct, writing and recording six songs in just twelve days after returning from Spain. “Sometimes overthinking is just a process of creating problems that weren’t there to begin with,” he says. “I tend to do that in my daily life so let’s try and bypass it in my music.”
“We Get Around” opens the twelve-track album, which pairs Wavves’ scrappy indie-rock roots with the earnestness of early-2000s guitar music. Listen below.
