Recorded in March 2024, the new album showcases their refined shoegaze style that captures both heaviness and haze, resulting in a perfect storm of distortion and dream pop, cracked love songs cloaked in swooning walls of noise. Cold Gawd, led by California-based multi-instrumentalist Matt Wainwright, crafts stormy shoegaze music with R&B influences.
