Bed Bug Guru is a sludgy alt-rock band formed in 2022 among college friends who came together bonding over bands like DIIV, Duster, and Modern Color. Wanting to sound like a “bad trip,” the band’s output and live show drives off pedal effects and glitched out visuals. With their debut LP Double Scoop being recorded live to tape, Bed Bug Guru wanted to create an immersive experience for the listener meant to scratch a certain itch in your brain. Think shoegaze meets noise rock/slacker rock vibes meets heavy and grungy slowcore, but also catchy.

Soul Blind are a hardcore-adjacent shoegazey/post-grunge band from Hudson Valley, NY channeling elements of 90s grunge, shoegeaze, and post-hardcore, originally signed to Other People Records for their debut LP and singed to Closed Casket Activities for their sophomore LP due out fall 2025.

Oversize, an alternative rock band from Salisbury UK, formed in late 2019 blending influences from 90's Indie, Emo, Grunge, Shoegaze, and Britpop. They released their debut EP "In Balance" in 2021 and are set to follow up with the EP "Into the Ceiling" in late 2022.

Formed by multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Sonia Weber in 2015, Alien Boy has steadily evolved from a plucky punk band in the Portland, Oregon, DIY scene into one of the most reliably satisfying rock bands in modern guitar music. The group, whose lineup is rounded out by drummer Derek McNeil along with guitarists Caleb Misclevitz and A.P. Fiedler, solidified their sound on 2021’s acclaimed Don’t Know What I Am, and now on their upcoming third LP "You Wanna Fade?" do May 2025 takes all of the best parts of that pop-rock-by-way-of-shoegaze concoction and amplifies them to their most widescreen version. “I wanted to go as big as possible and I really didn’t want to rush,” Weber says of the album’s sound and four-year gestation. “When I first started the band I was trying to keep the songs as short as possible, but I sort of realized that that’s not actually what I like. I was looking at the records that I turn to the most–Third Eye Blind’s self-titled and Smashing Pumpkins’ Siamese Dream–and I really wanted to capture that kind of grandness, the kind of thing that has a lot of dimension and isn’t actually that concise.”

Bedridden is a sludgy shoegaze band based in Brooklyn led by singer/songwriter/guitarist Jack Riley who draw inspiration from the loud and fuzzed out alternative guitar rock of the 90s. Bedridden began in New Orleans when Riley was in college, where he enlisted bassist Sebastian Duzian and drummer Nicholas Pedroza to form a live band. The initial lineup shared their debut EP, Amateur Heartthrob in 2023, which includes fan-favorite songs like “Clara’s Mouth” and “Soft Soap.” Now a Brooklyn-based project, the trio recently added guitarist Wesley Wolffe to the mix and are gearing up for the release of their debut LP via Julia's War Recordings, for fans of Narrow Head, Hum, Smashing Pumpkins

The band Trauma Ray from Fort Worth has made waves in the shoegaze scene with their intense and expressive music. The band will be releasing their debut full length album, "Chameleon," showcasing their three-guitar attack and stormy fusion of influences, appealing to fans of Nothing, DIIV, Glare, and the shoegaze revival genre.

Around the tucked-away town of Boonton, NJ in 2021, Christian Castan (vocals/ guitar), Bridget Bakie (bass/vocals), Jack Miller (drums), and Danny Zavala (guitar) formed High, a band that combines elements of shoegaze, grunge, emo and dream pop. Creative nucleus Christian Castan and Bridget Bakie met while playing the DIY and college circuit around New Jersey building Bakie’s reputation as “The Queen of The Quarter Note,” and Castan’s profile as an unforgettable guitarist. After playing in a band together, the two longed for a project that would be their sole creative focus and could tour as far and wide as possible. A few weeks and two practices after their formation, the band began playing shows around the tristate DIY circuit after their proper NYC debut at Saint Vitus. The band is gearing up to release their sophomore EP "Come Back Down" in January of 2025 which will include their debut EP Bomber on the B-side.

Glimmer, a grungegaze band, consists of Jeff Moore (vocals, guitar), Jaye Moore (drums), Johnny Nicholls (guitar), and Kevin Dobbins (bass). The band, formed in February 2023 by cousins Jeff and Jaye Moore, in Brooklyn / Hudson Valley, NY. Their sound is described as a blend of grungy indie rock and shoegaze, that pairs layers of heavy guitars with dreamy, swirling reverb, and big melodic hooks. Heavily inspired by the sounds of 90s guitar fueled alternative rock, shoegaze and grunge in bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Ride and Swervedriver.

Slow Crush is a Belgian shoegaze band known for their contrasting sounds, blending ethereal dream pop with crushing walls of noise. Formed in 2017, they've gained global recognition for their immersive and swirling soundscapes. The band, fronted by vocalist and bassist Isa Holliday, has evolved through lineup changes and label shifts, ultimately landing at Pure Noise Records for their upcoming third album, "Thirst," set to release on August 29, 2025.

Bleed are an alternative metal/rock band from Dallas, Texas combining elements of 90s and early 2000s alt rock, grunge, metal and shoegaze. The band comprised of former and current members of Narrow Head at the time of their formation. On September 12, 2021 they dropped the 4-track EP Somebody's Closer. The band takes inspiration from Alice in Chains, Helmet, and Deftones as evident by their sound, and fit right in with the new crop of "grungegaze" bands like Soul Blind, Narrow Head, Trauma Ray and many others.

Juicin is a Chicago-based rock group consisting of Ryan Davis (Sleepwalk, Astrobrite) and Tyler Gargula (Sleepwalk, Muted Color). Started in 2022 as a side project, we were at our practice space one day and started jamming ideas that were more hardcore. We're in a few shoegaze-leaning bands so this was something we wanted to do to fulfill new ideas that wouldn't fit in our other bands. Fans of melodic fuzzed out noise-pop similar to bands like Hotline TNT, Ovlov, Title Fight, Big Bite and the like will enjoy this. Debut 4 song EP releasing February 28, 2025.

Based out of Antelope Valley CA, BED started out as a self titled solo project making indie rock. Over the years, the project has evolved into a 4 piece band. With influences ranging from indie rock to hardcore, The band today together outputs a high energy sound that could be described within the genres and moods of Dreampunk, Alternative, Shoegaze, or just Rock... The bands high energy sound is matched by high energy performances in concert, with emphasis on creating memorable experiences for their audience. Fans of Basement, Title Fight, Narrow Head, Superheaven and 90s influenced guitar fueled alternative rock.

The alternative rock band Fake Eyes, from North Carolina, combines shoegaze, grunge, brit pop, and emo influences in their music. Fans of Trauma Ray, Narrow Head, and Broken Head will enjoy their sound, as the band pulls from similar 90s influences like Hum, Sunny Day Real Estate and The Smashing Pumpkins. They have an EP out on New Morality Zine and plan to release their debut LP on Sunday Drive Records in fall 2024.

Julie is a band from Los Angeles signed to Atlantic Records. Their sound is reminiscent of artists in shoegaze, grunge, and 90's rock.

Grief Mop is an alternative rock/emo band from Portland, Maine, formed by songwriter Joseph Lacy. The band's debut EP, You Were Right Here But So Far Away, was released in 2024, featuring heavy, beautiful songs that blend emo and alternative rock influences. The music explores themes of grief and memory, dedicated in part to Lacy's late friend and musician, Tim Landers. Grief Mop is signed to Sunday Drive Records and includes members from bands like Transit and Infernal Diatribe. Their sound has evolved containing more shoegaze and post-rock elements with their debut LP for Sunday Drive Records set for release in October 2025.

Plight is an alternative grungegaze band from NYC combing elements of power-pop, emo, grunge, and alt-rock with big loud guitars and razor sharp hooks.

Chain was created in 2024 by Bart, his friends, and fellow bandmates in Mom Jeans, Just Friends, ane Grad Life, Driven by Bart’s songwriting, blending influences from 90s alternative rock icons like Smashing Pumpkins, their sound is characterized by thunderous guitars, infectious melodies, and an undeniable punk rock spirit. Chain was formed with a simple goal: to have fun with his friends, create music that resonates, and play as many shows as possible. At its core, Chain’s music is about embracing authenticity and breaking through the glass walls of the world to discover yourself. Whether you’re moshing in a packed room or driving with the windows down, Chain delivers a cathartic experience that’s equal parts nostalgic and refreshing.

ASkySoBlack is a post-hardcore band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Their music blends 90s alternative rock with elements of nu-metal, shoegaze, and 00s emo, and their lyrics explore themes of love, loss, and heartbreak.

Formed in Jacksonville, FL in 2020 while members Joel Cedeno, Nick Dilts, Jarod Whalen, and Reed Cothren previously & simultaneously played in bands True Form, Method of Doubt, and more—Leaving Time sonically stands out from the aforementioned. Taking inspiration from the notable '90s alternative-rock and shoegaze sound, Leaving Time adds much of their own to the sound. Subtle nuances like the whirling guitar leads and hardcore-inspired drums give each song a driving punch, taking the singular "shoegaze" descriptor out of the picture. On EP II, the band again connected with Gainesville producer, John Howard to write some of their best songs to date. Pushing the sound heard on their S/T, EP II finds the band coming to form. The band is signed to Sunday Drive Records and is gearing up to release their debut LP in November of 2024.
