Mobile, Alabama heavy shoegaze band Slow Degrade share atmospheric new single "lead me down." via ARSON THEORY

Mobile, Alabama heavy-shoegaze outfit Slow Degrade have shared lead me down., their first single for ARSON THEORY. Spacey synths tangle through fuzzed-out distortion as the band leans further into the atmospheric, grunge-tinged alt-rock that turned Who Will Fix Me Now? into a viral breakout and pushed them past 200K monthly listeners.

Vocalist Shane Prickett has said he wrote it about watching his brother reshape himself for a one-sided relationship, changing to fit "someone he thought cared for him" — and the toll of seeing that up close.

Kevin DeLeon produced the single, with a mix from Austin Coupe (Moodring, The Devil Wears Prada, Thousand Below) and a master from Chris Gehringer (Turnstile, Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots). lead me down. is streaming now, and the band carries it into a May North American headline run alongside Commoner.
