Cloned Apparition

Montreal alternative rock /Nu-Grunge band Cloned Apparition have released their new single “Let Me”, the latest track from their debut album Parallel With The Sun, out July 17th through Static Era Records.

Following the previously released “Stain,” “Let Me” pushes the band further into a heavy blend of grunge, shoegaze, and nu-metal-leaning alternative rock. The track features guest vocals from Jake of Canadian hardcore band Mile End, shifting from hazy melodic passages into a more crushing, full-band attack.

Vocalist Alec Turcot says the song is “about someone important to you and letting them in despite your faults,” and about growing up alongside someone while recognizing that things have not always been perfect.

“The song tackles the theme of someone trying to portray someone they are not, out of fear of people seeing them for who they really are. It’s something I’ve dealt with personally and struggled with.”
