Cloned Apparition

Montreal-based heavy alt-rock band Cloned Apparition will release their debut album, Parallel with the Sun, on July 17 via Static Era Records. Blending grunge, shoegaze, post-hardcore, and nu-metal influences, the band draws inspiration from acts such as Helmet, Deftones, and Hum, while fitting comfortably alongside the current wave of heavy grungegaze and alt-rock bands like Soul Blind, Bleed, Money, Narrow Head, and Trauma Ray. That balance of crushing heaviness and atmospheric texture is on full display in their latest single, "Stain," streaming below.

“The song tackles the theme of someone trying to portray someone they are not, out of fear of people seeing them for who they really are. It’s something I’ve dealt with personally and struggled with.”
