Hardcore

End It is a hardcore band from Baltimore, MD. Formed in 2017, the five-piece have pride for the city and often address the unease mixed with hope that stems from the community they live in. The band came out strong with the release of their self-titled EP the same year they started, and followed it up with 2020’s One Way Track. In the summer of 2022, the band took the hardcore world by storm with the EP, Unpleasant Living released through Flatspot Records. Quickly becoming a favorite with fans and press alike, the album landed on best of the year lists from Revolver, BrooklynVegan, Stereogum, No Echo and more. The band takes heavy influence from ‘90s hardcore, while throwing in their own flavor of thrashy guitars and charismatic vocals from Akil Godsey. They will be releasing their debut LP in summer of 2025.

End It, a Baltimore hardcore band, is set to release their debut album "Wrong Side Of Heaven" on August 29th via Flatspot Records. Influenced by classic east coast 90s hardcore, thrash, and soul music, the band's sound is characterized by fast, ripping songs, with groove-heavy riffs, breakdowns and Akil Godsey's charasmatic and chaotic vocal delivery. Produced by Brian McTernan, the album aims to spread awareness and maintain the ethics of hardcore, building on the band's reputation for being unapologetically outspoken and delivering electrifying live performances. Latest single "Pale Horse" now available, clocks in at one minute and twelve seconds showcasing End It's trademark hard-hitting, soulful hardcore.

Baltimore hardcore outfit End It drop latest single with accompanying video

On August 29th, Baltimore hardcore crew End It will release their debut full-length Wrong Side Of Heaven through Flatspot Records. After bursting out with single “Pale Horse” and a youthful video, the band now deliver the transcendent “Life Sublime.” Bouncing rhythms and fresh guitar riffs build alongside Akil Godsey signature vocals, shouting about perseverance and independence. The video for the song find the members of End It transformed into video game characters, racking up point by slaying monsters with guitar shredding and causing general havoc throughout the virtual city. End It has built a reputation through being unapologetically outspoken, playing fast, ripping songs, and putting on an electrifying live show. Entering Salad Days Studio with renowned producer Brian McTernan (Turnstile, Snapcase, Hot Water Music) the band came in with a few demos and wrote the majority of the album during the two month recording process in early 2025. Taking direction from classic hardcore, thrash, and soul music, End It has crafted a 15 song magnum opus centered on “Spreading awareness of the change that’s coming to Americans, personal growth, and maintaining the ethics and integrity of hardcore.”
