Heart Attack Man

From Cleveland, OH, Heart Attack Man originally started as a solo recording project for singer/guitarist Eric Egan in 2013. Driven by an ingrained appreciation for addictive melodies and hard hitting alternative rock, the project quickly evolved into a full band. Shortly after the EP Acid Rain was released, the band gained an overwhelmingly positive response and hit the road to tour throughout the US and Canada. In 2015 the band headed to Philadelphia to record their debut full length, The Manson Family, at Headroom Studios with Ian Farmer of Modern Baseball for you You Did This/Triple Crown Records. Subsequently, the band has released 2 additional LPs and an EP, and are gearing up to release their 4th LP in April 2025 via Many Hats Distribution.

Heart Attack Man is releasing their 4th album "Joyride The Pale Horse" on April 25, 2025, introducing two new tracks now streaming titled “Laughing Without Smiling” and “Spit" from the forthcoming LP. The Cleveland trio's blend of palm-muted pop-punk guitar chords and introspective lyrics delves into existential themes, drawing comparisons to bands like Can't Swim, Sum 41, Pup and Micorwave with a nod to 90s heavy fuzzed out alt-rock and pop-punk influences. Across 12 tracks, fans can expect a dose of high energy, loud guitars and the monster hooks the band is known for.

Heart Attack Man Releases Title Track & Music Video for pop punk banger “Joyride The Pale Horse” from forthcoming LP

Rising punk band Heart Attack Man has today shared the title track from their forthcoming album. “Joyride The Pale Horse” is out now, along with a brand new music video. Fans can stream the song and watch the new music video below.

“This song ended up really feeling like the combination of all the ideas and feelings present throughout the album; hence why it’s the title track, and why it felt fitting to have it be the closer,” shares front man Eric Egan. “Ironically enough, it was the first song written for this album, and in many ways set a lot of the energy into motion. The overarching idea with this one was to feel like a melodramatic addressing of death without actually calling it by name and making different creative allusions to death itself. This album is a litany of musings on life and death, and how there’s an abundance of ways to work through any of them.”

Joyride The Pale Horse, the 4th studio album from Heart Attack Man, is set to be released on April 25th.

Rising punk band Heart Attack Man has today shared a brand new music video for their single “Spit” which can be viewed below. “Spit” is taken from the band’s forthcoming album Joyride The Pale Horse, set to be released on April 25, 2025. Shares front man Eric Egan: “This song is a go-for-the-throat, tongue in cheek lashing out against the use of generative artificial intelligence in the creative process, as I think it signals the death of ones own inherent creativity.” Additionally, new single "Laughing Without Smile" also from their forthcoming LP can be viewed / streamed below.
