Johnny Foreigner are a Birmingham, UK indie rock band known for tangled guitars, fast-moving hooks, and shout-along dual vocals. The current lineup features Alexei Berrow, Kelly Parker, Junior Elvis Washington Laidley, and Lewes Herriot, with the band’s sound moving between indie rock, noise pop, punk, and math-rock bite.

Since forming in the mid-2000s, Johnny Foreigner have built a cult following through records including Waited Up 'til It Was Light, Grace and the Bigger Picture, Johnny Foreigner vs Everything, You Can Do Better, Mono No Aware, and 2024’s How To Be Hopeful. After returning from hiatus, the band have continued to operate in their own lane: chaotic but precise, melodic but still rough around the edges, and unmistakably themselves.

The band’s next album, Forwards!, arrives September 4, 2026 via Alcopop! Records. Its latest single, “The New Navigation,” points toward another urgent Johnny Foreigner record: bright, frantic, melodic, and full of the personality that has made the band such a beloved fixture in UK underground indie rock.
