Led by Will Pearce, the band's sound pays homage to British punk fused with indie and power pop elements, drawing inspiration from bands like Husker Du, Guided by Voices, Superchunk, and Jawbreaker while embracing the South Coast punk scene.
The album was partially recorded at Southsea Sound before lockdown, with Pearce completing the production in his home studio. The band's evolution in songwriting is evident, with drummer Rob Day contributing significantly to the album's creation.
