Moon Tooth, the Long Island-based band, will release their eagerly-awaited rock album "Phototroph" on May 13 through Pure Noise Records. Their sound has been likened to the adventurous style of early Mars Volta.

The album's theme revolves around growth and positivity, with influences from blues, country, and old-school rock evident in tracks like "Carry Me Home." Produced by Josh Wilbur, the upcoming release follows singles "Nymphaeaceae" and "The Conduit" which showcase Moon Tooth's genre-defying approach to music.
