Show Me the Body (SMTB) is a New York City post-hardcore band formed in 2009. The trio consists of Julian Cashwan Pratt (vocals/banjo), Harlan Steed (bass), and Nijol Benjamin (drums). They are recognized for their distinct "New York Sludge" sound, which blends hardcore punk, hip-hop, sludge metal, and noise rock using heavily distorted banjo and industrial textures.Signed to Loma Vista Recordings, their core discography includes the albums Body War (2016), Dog Whistle (2019), and Trouble The Water (2022), alongside the collaborative project Alone Together. Deeply rooted in DIY culture, the band runs CORPUS—a Queens-based creative platform, studio, and label founded in 2015 to organize all-ages underground shows, mutual aid, and collaborations with artists like Denzel Curry and Princess Nokia.
