Sunbleached announce debut album Stop Destroying The Things You Love, share new single “Pain Chamber”

Australian alternative rock, post-hardcore, and emo outfit Sunbleached have announced their debut full-length, Stop Destroying The Things You Love, arriving September 18 via Community Music. Alongside the announcement, the Brisbane five-piece have shared the crushing new single “Pain Chamber”, another glimpse into the record’s emotionally charged mix of massive guitars, melodic hooks, and explosive aggression.

Produced by Fletcher Matthews (Trophy Eyes, Dear Seattle, Secret World), “Pain Chamber” balances thick, grunge-soaked riffs with soaring clean melodies before erupting into bursts of aggressive screams. Lyrically, the song explores losing yourself in a relationship and the emotional toll of constantly reshaping your identity to meet someone else’s expectations.

Fans of Basement, Citizen, Split Chain, and Australian counterparts like Trophy Eyes, Divedown, and Bad Neighbour will feel right at home with Sunbleached’s blend of alternative rock, post-hardcore, emo, and grunge. Following the success of “Slow Burn,” the band looks poised for a breakout with their debut LP.

Check out both “Pain Chamber” and the previously released “Slow Burn” below, and look for Stop Destroying The Things You Love when it arrives on September 18.
