Notthingham, UK's melodic alt-rock meets dream pop / shoegazing masterminds Amusement Parks On Fire have just announced their first album in over a decade, titled "An Archaea" set to release on June 25, 2021. The band has sporadically teased us with some new material in the form of a couple EPs over the last 10 years, keeping fans anxiously awaiting the announcement of their 4th proper full length and follow up to the masterful "Road Eyes" released in 2010. Thankfully, the wait is almost over as we will have thier new LP blasting through our stereos this summer.

Amusment Parks On Fire's brand of beautiful noise often showcasing layers of guitars and feedback, both loud and quiet, combined with soaring melodies and pop hooks, make them one of the best musically passive agressive bands of the genre. Fans of My Vitriol, Catherine Wheel, Dinosaur Jr, Smashing Pumpkins, Hum and My Bloody Valentine should all find something to love about these guys. The band has not released any singles from the forthcoming LP yet that I'm aware of, but as soon as they do, we certainly will post about it. I know I can't wait to hear this in full, as I am sure I will have plenty of good things to say about this release, and it will be in regular rotation all summer.
