Brooklyn-based emo punks Awful Din announce the release of their ANTI BODY LP via We’re Trying Records on January 28. The album was recorded and mixed at Studio G with Jeff Verner and Ross Colombo, and mastered by Jon Markson. Today, Awful Din shares the video for "GTFO My Basement" from the album. The band describes the song as a reflection on a chaotic Christmas night, capturing the essence of volatile relationships that many can relate to. Over the last decade, Awful Din has performed in various venues, from Brooklyn basements to French-Canadian bars, showcasing their crunchy, emo-inspired melodic punk sound. Guitarists Kat and Aaron have been collaborating since childhood, influenced by bands like Saves The Day and Texas Is The Reason. Officially formed in 2014, they have established themselves as key players in the New York DIY scene, evolving their sound with each release, including their debut LP Only Constantly in 2022.
