Sonically charged pop metalcore at its finest

Erra have been a band I’ve followed for years after seeing them dominate music festival and club over and over again. The band has honed in a sound that is decidedly well refined.
“Silence Outlives the Earth” continues the tradition, with polished riffs and hooks for the masses and superfans alike. Every song on this song has a memorable and similarly punishing moment to it. Whether it’s the insanely addictive single “Further Eden” or the three part medley that closes things this album is sonically supercharged at every moment. It’s as if Saosin, Currents, and other metalcore giants all had one melding of powerful, catchy, and uplifting jams in a tight, cohesive package.
I find myself looping this album over and over again and it’s decidedly one of the most solid and memorable albums that was worth the wait. Was looking forward to this one for so long and it was anything from disappointing.
