Harker

Brighton UK's Harker play fuzzed out melodic indie-punk with pop hooks, not dissimilar from many of the bands I listened to in the late 90s/early 2000s and still listen to today. Their debut LP "No Discordance" was a great intro to the band and is well worth checking out. But with their latest singles, Harker have cranked up the noise a notch while still sitting somewhere between the louder side of Superchunk and The Get Up Kids, and keeping their knack for high energy anthemic hooks intact. Definitely one of my more highly anticipated spring 2021 new releases.
