Locket goes All Out on upcoming LP

As soon as I heard the single Sleepwalking from Locket's forthcoming LP, I new these guys sounded familiar. Recently learning that these guys were formerly the band Safe to Say, it made a lot of sense. I dug the last Safe to Say album and wondered what had happened to these guys. Well, now they're back with a new name, and a new album, and I'm definitely stoked to check this out. With the new songs, the band seems to have taken their previous bands sound adding a new sense of maturity and sonic layers, with anthemic choruses that will get stuck in your head and are meant to be shouted along. As I stated above in the release info, the band's sound is heavily remiscent of 'Youth' era Citizen, and I say that as a complement. Dark, melodic, and angst, but with big hook choruses, this band is sure to please fans of Brand New, Citizen, Balance and Composure, and others who play this brand of emotionally driven melodic alternative rock / post hardcore/ pop punk blend.
