Mississippi's loudest export, MSPAINT, have returned! In 2023 the group emerged fully formed from the Hattiesburg underground with the release of their debut album, Post-American (which drew critical acclaim from the likes of Stereogum, Pitchfork, The FADER, Paste Magazine, BrooklynVegan, FLOOD Magazine, Revolver Magazine, and many more) and today they're announcing its follow-up: the No Separation EP, due out May 23rd from Convulse Records.

No Separation further refines the highly unique sound that's made MSPAINT one of the most exciting new bands, not just in aggressive music but well beyond. The staunchly guitar-less group manages to be crushingly heavy and strikingly melodic all at once, colliding distorted bass lines with ever-shifting synths and propulsive drumming--all with mononymous vocalist Deedee's signature roar leading the way. All of this is perfectly captures by No Separation's lead single "Angel," a stunning cut of otherworldly music that organically combines the cinematic scope of a John Carpenter score and visceral sweat-soaked urgency of a punk show.
