Exeter band pushbike’s Little Bastard EP arrives October 9, 2026, marking their first release for The Bird Records, the label associated with Charlie Wayne of Black Country, New Road and Mita De. Their own label, spinning sister, is also involved in the physical edition.

Recorded in Bristol with Jack Ogborne (The New Eves, Nina Winder-Lind, Naima Bock), the four songs clock in at under ten minutes. The band bring their love of ’90s alternative guitar music, scrappy second-wave emo and power-pop hooks into sharp focus: loud, restless guitars and shout-along melodies with a foot in both the British indie tradition and American post-hardcore.

Lead single “Pure Hate” introduces the EP with a rush of noisy melody. It arrives alongside the exclusive B-side “Captain On The Bridge,” which is not part of the EP’s four-song tracklist.
