Queens of the Stone Age

Perfecth is the ninth studio album from Queens of the Stone Age, due October 30, 2026 via Matador Records. Produced by Josh Homme and Michael Shuman and recorded across sessions from New Orleans to Los Angeles, the nine-song record follows 2023’s In Times New Roman... and finds the band working from the idea that broken things can become more beautiful through repair.

That kintsugi-inspired theme runs through songs about different forms of love — family, friendship, desire, loss and the people who can break you or put you back together. Homme says the album was intentionally built so that “every song sounds like it’s from a different world,” stitching together emotions around love, lust, foolishness and the wisdom that can come from all three.

The album includes the previously released “Easy Street” and new single “Insignificant Other.” Described by the band as the record’s centerpiece, “Insignificant Other” was captured on the second of only two takes, with the group playing loose and leaving space for one another in real time. Homme calls it a song about distance and the vertigo of watching someone who once felt like your entire world simply disappear.
