swallowtail is the third EP from Minneapolis dream-pop and shoegaze band she's green. Released July 10, 2026 via Photo Finish Records, the seven-track set pushes the group’s “moss music” into a more expansive studio setting, moving between delicate vocals, luminous guitar textures, driving drums, and dense bursts of fuzz.

The EP was produced, engineered, and mixed by Sonny DiPerri, with additional engineering by Nate Van Fleet and Zach CapittiFetton and mastering by Stephen Marcussen. It is the band’s first fully studio-recorded project and follows 2025’s Chrysalis.

“Our third EP swallowtail is an emergence,” guitarist Liam Armstrong says. “It laments dreams and memories in the wake of a great transformation and marks a change in our approach to songwriting and recording.” The record includes the previously released “mettle,” “paper thin,” “empty house,” and the seven-minute “close your eyes,” along with opener “locket,” “dear ivy,” and “keeper.”
