For over a decade, small talk. have been a household name in the underground SD scene. Described as "San Diego Sad Rock" blending elements of pop-punk, post-hardcore, and nostalgic emo sounds, the upcoming record encapsulates what the band has built for themselves sonically, which may be the most aggressive, melodic, sonically layered and tappy they've found themselves to date. The 10-track record encompasses the nearly 13 year journey of the band since their inception, and all the ups and downs that have happened in their lives as they've grown up. The new single 'floral headstones' is a track about loss and acknowledging those we’ve left behind and is now streaming below. It's about holding those we love close because life is short and you never know what's coming.
