Emo/Alternative group group Sunday Morning has announced their debut full length album Eternal Grief, set to be released on October 31, 2025 via Open Your Ears Records. Fans can check out lead single and music video “Pulling Thorns”, out now and streaming below.

“Eternal Grief is an eloquent story of the battle with grief, the potential loss of a loved one, and acceptance,” the band shares. “Expressed through the many influences that comprise of Sunday Morning, Eternal Grief gives listeners a full spectrum of sonic expression and emotion.” About the new single, they add: “The song includes the lyrics that inspired the title of the album. With its anthemic chorus, we knew it was going to be the first single. This song continues the theme of loss and how life can potentially be after it. It also features a sample from the 1943 film, Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman.”

Grief is complicated—both in practice and in definition. Keanu Reeves said, “Grief changes shape, but it never ends.” It ebbs and flows. It lives with you. Eternal Grief, the debut album from Connecticut emo juggernauts Sunday Morning, dismantles grief by carefully examining the prismatic presentation it can have across a lifetime. Engineered by Rob Chiarappa (The Story So Far, Koyo) and mixed by Brett Romnes (Hot Mulligan, Anxious), the album sees the band building upon the foundation they’ve solidified over the past 6 years. The heavy parts are heavier, the melodic parts are catchier, and the lyrics are more personal and resonant than ever before.

Stay tuned for more coming soon.
