Philadelphia/New Jersey quintet Sweet Pill today announced their sophomore album Still There’s A Glow will be released on March 13, 2026, via Hopeless Records. They’ve also shared lead single “No Control,” an alternately soaring and heavy track that premiered on Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show earlier today, showcasing the rising band’s dynamism and singer Zayna Youssef’s full-hearted vocals. Youssef explains that this song reflects her struggles with self-worth and boundaries, marking a personal journey of self-reflection. The album is a hard-fought document of growth, written and recorded in the wake of a whirlwind three years following their 2022 debut LP, Where the Heart Is. The band decided to start fresh, stepping away from previous demos to create a more cohesive sound that encapsulates their live energy. The album features a more elevated sound, crisply recorded by Gradwell House, and highlights the band's evolution while addressing themes of self-confrontation and resilience. Sweet Pill aims to connect with listeners through their honest and vulnerable songwriting, hoping to inspire others to embrace their own journeys of self-discovery.
