Heavy Pulp

American rock band The Technicolors have announced their new album, Heavy Pulp, will be released on August 29 via SoundOn. The album is described as a "sonically massive, brooding" rock album, a return to form for the band after a four-year hiatus. Produced by GRAMMY-nominated Robert Adam Stevenson and featuring BRONCHO’s Nathan Price on drums, the album marks the band’s first release since their 2021 album, Cinema Sublimina.

Following the hiatus, which the band used to be intentional with their music and not cut corners, they are returning to the music scene with new energy. The band has shared the track "Softcore" as an early look at the album, with guitarist Sean Silverman calling it a "tender moment after a more aggressive slate of tunes." The Technicolors have also released the song "Posh Spice", along with an official video. During their time away, the band’s catalog grew in popularity, with over 100 million streams on Spotify, setting the stage for their biggest chapter yet.
