Topdown

The Earth & All Its Pavement is the sophomore album from Austin melodic post-hardcore band Topdown, due October 16, 2026 via Diverse Chorus Records and Sweet Cheetah Records.

Written, recorded and produced entirely in-house, the album builds on the chemistry Topdown established on their 2024 self-titled debut. The band's sound pulls from '90s and early-2000s emo, hardcore and pop punk, pairing muscular guitar riffs and hooks with vocals that alternate between anguished screams and atmospheric, reverb-soaked melodies.

The record was introduced by first single “Paranoid” in July, followed by “Dissonance.” Lead singer Grace describes “Dissonance” as being about “not knowing how to love properly.”
