Warper

Lateness is the second release from Warper, the Loveland, Colorado duo of Jack McManaman (vocals, guitars, bass) and drummer Adam Gilsdorf. Out April 30, 2021, its three songs — "Felt," "Lateness" and "Gives Way" — were recorded and produced by Corey Coffman in Loveland, with Morgan Fields adding background vocals to "Felt" and Coffman contributing backing vocals and percussion; Edsel Holden mastered it.

It's a richer, more textured step forward from the band's 2020 debut, moving between crushing distorted passages and quieter, softer stretches — the sound they'd carry into their Candlepin Records debut LP Something, Sometime in 2025.
