Wishy, the promising new group known for their immersive dream-pop sound meets 90s alt rock sound, is set to release their sophomore LP, Nature's Pill, on October 2nd via Winspear. Following their critically acclaimed debut LP, Triple Seven, and the EP Planet Popstar, the band has continued to evolve their sound, blending elements of shoegaze, indie rock, and nostalgic 90s alternative. Nature's Pill captures the unpredictability of life, exploring themes of romantic frustration and the chaos of human experience through vibrant melodies and zany lyrics. The album was crafted collaboratively, with the band recording half of the songs live in a studio in Los Angeles, resulting in a raw energy that reflects their growth as a band after extensive touring. With influences ranging from '90s dream-pop to '80s college rock, Wishy invites listeners to embrace the madness of life through their music.

To mark the occasion they are sharing the album's lead single "Lovesick," a swooning gem sung by Nina Pitchkites that recalls The Cure at their most pop-forward and The Sundays at their buoyant best.

Nina Pitchkites (singer/guitarist) says of the track: "There’s not much more that needs to be said about yearning in 2026, but here it is anyway. Kevin and I are stupidly romantic people who like twee pop so that combination alone was a recipe for a cheeky “main character” song. We really leaned into the overzealous lyrics here because 1) we’re allowed, 2) can do whatever we want and 3) it’s fun :) yay!"
