Fraternal Twin have shared “Halo Fell Forever,” the title track and final preview of their first new album in a decade, Halo Fell Forever, out September 4.
The new single moves at the band’s patient, slow-burning pace, with hazy guitars and Tom Christie’s vocals gradually giving way to heavier distortion. Christie says the phrase “Halo Fell Forever” first emerged while listening back to improvised vocals from the demo, eventually becoming tied to a personal “fall from innocence” and the idea of learning from mistakes without trying to live up to other people’s expectations.
Halo Fell Forever was produced by Dan Howard and follows 2016’s Homeworlding. Stream the new single below.
