Peoria, IL's heaving. have released why are you still dreaming?, a three-song set out July 22nd. It gathers this year's singles "faces of you" and "if i cried out" alongside one new closer, "carsick," which arrives with an official music video.
The band self-released it and kept the same crew behind their recent run of songs: Adam Cichocki mixed and mastered, Tyler Spatafore recorded, and James Treichler tracked drums. At barely nine minutes it's a quick, dense listen — the nu-metal weight and shoegaze haze they've been sharpening since 2024's debut EP just take everything…, with nothing padding the space between riffs.
