MI's 84 Tigers Share Gritty Groove-Heavy New Single “Fathom” from forthcoming LP

It harkens back to something 90s, in the world of Handsome or Quicksand. It’s about running a marathon.” The track serves as the 3rd single from the forthcoming LP, following the previously released singles "Two Rivers' and "The Crush of it All" all streaming below.
Formed by brothers Mike and Ben Reed (Small Brown Bike) and longtime friend Jono Diener (The Swellers), 84 Tigers first broke through with their 2022 debut Time in the Lighthouse. Their widescreen blend of post-hardcore urgency, ’90s alt-rock grit, and melodic hooks quickly earned critical praise from outlets like BrooklynVegan and No Echo. Drawing from elements of post-hardcore and '90s alt-rock, and comparable to bands like Small Brown Bike, The Casket Lottery, Quicksand, Seaweed and Jawbox, the album navigates themes of loss and recovery through 10 brand new explosive tracks, including lead off single "The Crush Of It All", a melodic post-hardcore rocker that's now streaming everywhere.
