Militarie Gun Share “World’s Always Burning” Featuring Mannequin Pussy

Militarie Gun have shared “World’s Always Burning,” a new collaboration featuring Mannequin Pussy. The track arrives alongside news that an expanded deluxe edition of God Save The Gun will be released August 7 through Loma Vista Recordings.

The deluxe edition adds three songs that were recorded during the original album sessions but ultimately felt like a step beyond the record’s inward-looking perspective. Vocalist Ian Shelton explains: “Everything in ‘God Save The Gun’ became so focused on the internal, that when it came to fitting these songs in, it felt like they had stepped outside of that perspective. In my head these songs started to form into the feeling of finally coming to after being so caught up in your own head, and then realising the rest of the world is still out there and you haven’t been actively participating.”

Along with “World’s Always Burning,” featuring Mannequin Pussy, the expanded edition includes “3 AM” and “I’ve Said Too Much,” featuring Dazy. The full expanded track list is as follows:
